Marina Operators of the Bahamas Annual Meeting and Workshops

Marina operators from throughout The Bahamas will meet in Nassau this week to discuss challenges and opportunities for positioning The Bahamas as one of the world’s leading marina destinations. 

The recently formed Marina Operators of The Bahamas (MOB) will hold its Annual General Meeting with a series of timely workshop sessions this Wednesday May 12, 2010, in cooperation with the Bahamas Hotel Association and the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation, at the British Colonial Hilton.

Inaugural Session of Revans University

The Bahamas Hotel Associations is partnering with Revans University, with the support of International Management Centre Association Socrates (IMCA) to launch the Professional Master of Management (M.Mgmt) in Hospitality & Tourism.  This is being done in an effort to assist with the continuous development of seasoned hotel owners and operators as well as senior/experienced management executives in our Hospitality & Tourism Industry.
 
This program has been successfully launched by the Jamaica Hotel & Tourism Association and the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association.  It has also now been launched by the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association.  Jamaica is actually in its eighth successful year of running this program and have some 80+ graduates of the programs…
