The prestigious title of “Winners of the BHTA’s 21st Annual Golf Tournament” was awarded to Neale Jones and Tony Aranha who walked away with the top team designation and staycation prizes at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort.

Neale Jones, Tony Aranha Win Top Prize At BHTA Golf Tourney
The Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association held its 21st Annual Golf Tournament at the prestigious Royal Blue Golf Club at Baha Mar on Sunday, November 17.
The tournament supports BHTA’s workforce development programmes and scholarships for students whose studies fall within the gamut of the hospitality industry.

Heavy-Duty Vehicles Donated to Help Hurricane Dorian Rebuilding Efforts
Five heavy-duty off-road vehicles have been donated to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to strengthen the recovery and resettlement efforts in Northern Bahamas following the passage of Hurricane Dorian.
The ROXOR vehicles which are valued at $125,340.00 arrived at NEMA Headquarters in New Providence on November 5th, 2019 and will be distributed to Abaco and Grand Bahama to help with aid and relief efforts on each affected island.
Ex-Bahamas Tourism Official To Be Honoured
A Bahamian tourism executive will be honoured at the Caribbean Media Exchange (CMEX) Leadership Awards 2019 for more than 35 years of service to the industry.
Frank Comito, the former Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association’s (BHTA) executive vice-president, will be rewarded for his efforts to spur economic development, organisation management, government affairs, project management, workforce development, research and business and investor support in the tourism industry.
