We Are Deeply Saddened…

Jackson was equally at ease talking to the guys in the shack or the likes of Sol Kerzner.  Personally, his counsel and advise has been invaluable in helping me and others to understand what we have and what we can be.

Just over a month ago Jackson met with several of us in BHA’s office to discuss next planning steps for putting in place a major beautification initiative for the city following the completion of significant infrastructure works which the Government has commenced.  His enthusiasm and positive outlook was and is contagious.

We will miss his advice, his challenge to us, his humour and humanity….and each of us in The Bahamas, whether we know it or not, are enriched having had Jackson Burnside walk amongst us.

The Bahamas Hotel Association salutes one of our finest and offers its deepest condolences to Jackson’s family.
