This Year’s Silent Auction Then Goes Virtual for Two Weeks Starting Monday, December 6th for All Remaining Items. Lots of fantastic prizes being lined up. Note: The Authentically Bahamian Christmas Craft Show moves to downtown Nassau this year, thus our decision to do a combo Members-Only Auction on December 3rd, then opening it up to the public with an online auction.
About the Changeover and Recognition Ball….
On Friday, December 3rd, 2010, the Bahamas Hotel Association returns to its annual black tie tradition of recognizing our finest with an evening Changeover and Recognition Ball to be held at the Wyndham Nassau Resort.
The evening will be an occasion for the gathering of our industry’s public and private sector leaders and all tourism stakeholders. While there will be formalities, it is intended to be fun as we begin to ring in the holiday season.
We invite you to join us that evening to:
- Recognize our outgoing leadership and welcome our 2011 leadership team;
- Recognize Vernice Walkine for her many years of service to the industry;
- Salute our incoming Hotelier of The Year, Mr. George Markantonis, CEO and Managing Director for Kerzner International Bahamas
- Introduce our hotel Cacique finalists
- Enjoy an incredible Bahamian-International dinner menu crafted by our leading Chefs
- Dance the night away if you wish
