BHTA Awards And Cacique Awards
Members are invited each September to submit applications annually for: Hotelier of the Year; Manager of the Year; Chef of the Year; Employee of the Year; Supervisor of the Year; and Sales Executive of the Year. A distinguished panel makes the finalist selections list which is announced at the Annual General Meeting in December. The winners are announced at the annual Cacique Awards program in January.

Culinary Competitions
Members are encouraged to participate in various national, regional and international competitions. BHTA coordinates and supports The Bahamas’ participation in the regional Taste of the Caribbean competition conducted at the Caribbean Hotel & Tourissm Association’s annual CHIC conference in June.

Tributes
Members are periodically honored through special tribute programs including one established this year to recognize leadership in sustainable tourism.
