BHTA Past President Berkley Evans Passes Away

One of the Bahamian tourism trailblazers Berkley Evans has passed away.  Berkley was President of the then Bahamas Hotel Association in 1983. 

He was the first Bahamian-born President and also the first President from the Family Islands.  At the time he represented the Treasure Cay Resort on Abaco where he was General Manager.   Berkley was an avid supporter of BHTA’s annual golf tournament since its inception 14 years ago.
