Bahamas to Host CHTA’s Caribbean Travel Marketplace in 2020

Caribbean Travel Marketplace gathers representatives from hotels, destinations, wholesalers, tour companies, marketing agencies, MICE planners and the media all in one place. The event is generally intended to facilitate pre-scheduled appointments between attendees. The CHTA will produce next year’s event in collaboration with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association.

This year’s Caribbean Travel Marketplace, held in Montego Bay, Jamaica last month, marked the 37th for the CHTA. It brought in 64 new buyer companies, including 18 from China. The organization hopes to continue that trend by attracting more groups, especially from emerging markets, in 2020.
