Total Marina Boat Arrivals for 2009 Up Slightly Over 2008 – Below is a full year report of boat arrivals according to Bahamas Immigration data for 2009 which shows a 10.8 percent increase over 2008 led primarily by Bimini.  All major islands reported some measure of increase in arrivals except Abaco and Exuma which were down slightly and Harbour Islands which showed a 10.4 percent decline.  To view go to:

Produce Availability Chart – This should be shared with your lead F&B person, as it indicates what Bahamian-grown produce is available during specific times of the year.  We are working towards a more definitive arrangement with the growers to put in place a communications system whereby hotels and restaurants will know on a weekly basis what crops are anticipated to be available and wholesalers or locations where they might be procured.   To view, go to:
