Important Notice Re LPIA US Terminal Opening

Following is a communication prepared by NAD which hotels should incorporate into their appropriate communications to guests and travellers.

Visitors and US-Bound Travellers:

Please be advised that all persons travelling to any destination within the United States as of Wednesday, March 16th, are required to check-in 3 hours prior to their scheduled flight departure time. Please be aware that you will be among the first to depart from the brand new US Departures Terminal.
 
This will enable all airlines, security personnel and US Customs and Border Patrol agents adequate time to process and screen all passengers most efficiently using the new systems in place in the new US Departures Terminal. As this is a US Pre-clearance facility, once you have been cleared here in Nassau, there will be no further formalities for you when you arrive at your final US destination.
